What the app stores

Store SEO AI stores only the data needed to provide SEO audits, recommendations, preview history, billing, and support for a Shopify merchant. This can include the shop domain, Shopify app sessions, app settings, encrypted AI provider API keys, SEO job metadata, usage counts, and previewed change records.

Store content

When a merchant runs an audit or generates recommendations, selected product, image, collection, page, or blog fields may be read from Shopify so the app can suggest titles, handles, meta descriptions, and alt text improvements.

API keys

Provider API keys are encrypted before storage. The full key is never returned to the browser after it is saved.

Customer personal data

Store SEO AI does not intentionally store customer personal data. Shopify customer privacy webhooks are implemented so customer data requests and redaction requests can be handled if Shopify sends them.

Data deletion

When the app is uninstalled or Shopify sends a shop redaction request, Store SEO AI deletes shop-scoped app data, including sessions, settings, encrypted provider keys, usage events, SEO jobs, and preview records.
